How Kettlebell Exercises Could Assist Cain Velasquez

By Rob Sutter

When it comes to UFC, you better be certain that people are going to be highly competitory. I have seen fights drag on for a large number rounds while others were done in a matter of seconds. Cain Velasquez is the modern-day ruling champion in the promotion and he doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down. However, he may be able to better his fighting style and I believe that would come from kettlebell exercises and how regularly he would be able to use them.

Cain Velasquez retrieved his UFC Championship back in December thanks to a victory over Junior dos Santos. Since that time, many fans are looking at Velasquez in the hopes that he will be able to work well in imminent fights. Of course, triumphs aren't going to come without training and it seems as though he has this aspect of his life locked. Having said that, however, would he truly be able to better his fighting style if he revised his regimen to some degree?

One's fighting style could always use an improvement or two and such aspects could come about thanks to actions of various authorities, Lorna included. Think about how maneuverable people are when it comes to kettlebell exercises. These are the types which seem to exercise just about every part of the body, which cannot be said for your standard weights. If you want a regimen in order to help speed and strength alike, you are probably not going to find one better than this.

Velasquez is just like any fighter with an array of techniques to bring down opponents but it is how quick and hard he strikes that makes him a champion. It's common for him to utilize mostly punches, going left and right in order to take his opponents off guard and bring them down to the surface. After this is taken care of, it's normal for him to move swiftly and hit hard, putting his grappling prowess to use as he keeps each of his foes grounded. It's because of these actions that he has been able to win the championship twice.

Kettlebell exercises possess many benefits to try them out, whether you want to become a fighter or not. People who merely want to get into shape or keep up a regimen can put these to use because of how well they work with the body. It's almost as if they become natural, using the body's own motions in tandem with regimens which entail them. In the case of Velasquez, or any combatant worth their salt, these regimens can be some of the most useful.
